Welcome to Discover Scuba Panama City! I am excited to bring you into the underwater world. I specialize in PADI Discover Scubas(DSD), and private certifications.

What is DSD?

In a Discover scuba you will learn how to use the basics of scuba gear. It’s an intro if you will, it doesn’t end in a certification but it does let you scuba dive with the instructor after completing a couple skills.

Do I need prior experience?

Nope! This is an introduction to scuba diving, you will be with the instructor the entire time.

Is it safe?

While incidents are rare in scuba diving, they can have high intensity. This is why we make sure to brief each dive and complete requires skills to PADI standards.

Is it a tour?

I would say, yes. We do our Discover Scuba by keeping you within arms length as we tour around the rocks or local artificial reefs, or in the case of a guided dive we show you around where we find the coolest creatures. We also try to make you aware of any hazards in our local area.

Now I want to get certified, what about also getting other specialties?

We specialize in private certification and private specialty courses. We also partner with Red Alert Diving in Panama City Beach for non private certifications.
